The heart of the term sanomechanics™ is derived from the Latin sanus meaning healthy. Sanomechanics™ is the science of forces generated by motion in the body and their relation to musculoskeletal health. The foundational scientific discoveries were made by Professor Mark Pitkin, who has translated the theory and developed a principled system of exercises distinct from all other methods of perfecting the body.
The main idea behind that the Sanomechanics™ method rests upon is that
whenever a joint is loaded, pressure exerted on the cartilage is transmitted
hydrostatically to other joint capsules. Morphologically, the pressure is
transmitted through microscopic channels between the bone and the
periosteum sheath that covers the entire skeleton.
The video illustrates the theory of how pressures are distributed between joint
capsules. The theory logically suggests a remedy for when joints are chronically
overloaded: hydrostatic connectivity between joints has to be restored, and the
skeleton has to “float” again in the subperiosteal film of fluid. Sanomechanics™ is
resultant rehabilitation method to relieve joint pain.
“Six months of sanomechanics™ has transformed my body from a stiff, uncompliant burden into a flexible, responsive machine.”
"Sanomechanics™ has changed my life. I used to take pain killers for my chronic joint inflammation. Little by little I kept dropping the dose of the drugs as I spent more time on sanomechanics™. I’m pain free today, and I’ll keep doing sanomechanics™ every day of my life."
“The key is that there is no wrong place or time to practice sanomechanics™. Between sessions with the trainer, I practice the self-directed exercises at my desk at work, at home in bed, even while waiting in line running errands! I feel great.”
This rehabilitation program is offered online over Zoom by certified Sanomechanics™ trainer.
The Sanomechanics™ method is offered for people interested in reducing pain in their joints and improving their mobility.
The initial consultation is free of charge, and the hourly rate for rehabilitation services is $100/hr. Fees are not covered by Medicare. Kindly leave your contact information and a member of our team will be in touch to schedule an online appointment.

Published in 2011, Biomechanics for Life: Introduction to Sanomechanics™ introduced the rehabilitation method to the world. Combining scientific theory and practical exercise technique, delving into the physical and psychological dimensions of rehabilitation, the book and the practice it has inspired has helped myriads take back control of their musculoskeletal health.
